Ernesto Casas - Chief Technologist , Senior Consultant and President.
has over 30 years of extensive international experience in the technology and telecommunications areas. Mr. Casas has been involved in challenging projects, with small and large companies, which include a number of Fortune 500 companies. Recently, Mr. Casas lead the Operations, Sales and marketing for 3Com Latin America being responsible for all NBX (Voice) Businesses. Mr Casas served as Director of Service Creation for vox2vox, a startup company offering Next Generation Telecommunications services wholly owned and operated by Ella Cisneros. In this role, Mr. Casas successfully managed the product development process, from initial concept to product launch. He has extensive experience in defining and reengineering product development and implementing new product development processes having worked at such companies as Vox2Vox Communications, Click 1-2-1.com, 3Com, CANTV and SuperCableALK Internacional, among others. At 3Com occupied varios positions, including Country Manager for Venezuela, Regional Manager for the Carrier Business Unit and Business Development Director for Convergence in Latin America. At SuperCable, he was responsible for the company's restructuring to successfully compete within the telecommunications sector. He was directly responsible for IT, planning, network operations and new business development. Mr. Casas holds an MBA from IESA in Venezuela and a bachelor's from the University of Simon Bolívar, majoring in computer science, computer architecture and operations research.
